Velux Skylights - Flashing Systems

A crucial part of our complete system, VELUX flashing systems are designed to shed water without relying on sealants that can break down over time. We offer a variety of flashing systems to ensure a weathertight fit for virtually all roof types and slopes.

EDW high profile roof flashing provides a weathertight seal for deck mounted skylights or roof windows installed on roofs with high profile roofing materials such as concrete or Spanish tile.

The engineered side and head flashing pieces form a gutter which directs water away from the skylight and off the roof, ensuring a weathertight installation. The patented sill flashing piece features pliable pleats that can be easily formed to most types and heights of tile. EDW flashing is designed for roofs with slopes from 15º (3:12) to 85º (137:12).

METAL ROOF FLASHING
Flashing systems for metal roofs.

A VELUX® exclusive, EDM metal roof flashing makes installing skylights in metal roofs a snap. Flashing pieces interlock directly with the roofing material for a fast, weathertight installation and streamlined exterior. A sill apron features pliable pleats that form to the roof. EDM flashing is designed for roof pitches from 15º (3:12) to 85º (137:12).

UNDERLAYMENT
Provides added protection from extreme weather conditions.

This roofing underlayment is an alternative to roofing felt that wraps the skylight or roof window to provide added protection from extreme weather conditions. This is especially important in areas where ice and snow accumulate on the roof.
