Marc Robichaud is the Clare Chamber of Commerce's new president. He is a strong supporter of Acadian businesses within Clare and is manager of U.J. Robichaud TIMBR Mart, located in Meteghan Center, Nova Scotia. He was also the recipient of the Innovation Leader of the Year award for 2004 for his venture Estimator One Software. A graduate of Acadia University (‘97), he was awarded the Bishop Medal for the highest GPA in the Faculty of Professional Studies as well as the Business School Medal for the highest GPA in the Acadia School of Business. He is very involved in the local community and organizations, including serving as a director for the Société Acadienne de Clare. The Clare Chamber of Commerce has a mandate to promote and encourage economic development of existing industries and new businesses by collaborating and planning with our members, governments, educational institutions and local businesses to stimulate a strong economic climate in Clare."
