EAVEGUARD^® Shingle Underlayment

Guards the interior of your home against leaks caused by ice or snow buildup and wind-driven rain!

Bakor Eaveguard Shingle Underlayment is a self adhering aphalt waterproofing underlayment.  It is composed of a high tack, rubberized asphalt, coated on a non woven glass fiber mat.  Sand on the upper surface provides a non-slip working substrate and the lower surface has a split back release film for ease of application.  Bakor Eaveguard shingle underlayment is easily installed under shingles and over plywood, orient strand board and dimension lumber decks.  it is used at eavesthrough points, valley flashings and on low-slope applications to provide superior, watertight protection against the back-up of water resulting from ice dams or wind driven rain.

Roofing membranes
Shingles are not recommended for low slope roofs (3/12 pitch or lower). That is why Bakor invented Low Slope membranes. Low Slope is a self-adhered SBS rubberized membranes with an aesthetically pleasing granulated finish. The membrane easy to install and is durable. Backed by the best warranties in the business, Low Slope is available in a One ply or Two ply format.

Product Description
Bakor Low Slope one ply SBS self-adhered Granulated roofing membrane is composed of modified bitumen with fibrous glass reinforcement and a granulated top surface. This membrane is specially designed for application over oriented strand board (OSB) and plywood surface. Bakor Low Slope one ply SBS self-adhered Granulated roofing membrane is resistant to all weather conditions and remains permanently flexible even at low temperatures.

Acceptable deck materials
One Ply: minimum 15/32" plywood, oriented strand board (OSB)
Two Ply: minimum 15/32" plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), Plank or mill decks

Aquatac Primer
Bakor Aquatac primer is specially designed for self-adhesive membranes such as Bakor modifiedPLUS SA flashing application, Bakor Blueskin SA and Bakor Blueskin WP 200 when applied to wood, preserved wood gypsum board, Dens Glass Gold, polystyrene, masonry, concrete and metal. Bakor Aquatac Primer is the primer of choice for those projects requiring a fast drying for the application of membranes on vertical surfaces.

Blueskin^® Weather Barrier

Eliminates drafts and water penetration to your house. Look into this before installing windows or skylights!

Bakor Blueskin Weather-Barrier is a self adhering membrane consisting of an rubberized asphalt compound, integrally laminated to a blue cross-laminated polyethylene film.  This special membrane is specially formulated for self adhesion to prepared substrate.  This is designed for use as a concealed self-adhered barrier against moisture or air filtration and it is commonly used to provide a weather tight seal around windows and doors, joints in sheathing, sealing around skylights and as a flashing in residential construction.

- Can be applied in temperatures as low as -12 degrees celcius
- Superior adhesion to prepared substrates of concrete, concrete blow, primed steel, aluminum mill finish, galvanized metal, gypsum board and plywood

Bakor Blueskin WP200 is specially formulated to be self adhering to a prepared substrate thereby providing a high-performance waterproofing barrier.  Bakor Blueskin WP200 Self Adhering Waterproofing Membrane is designed for use as a self adhered sheet waterproofing membrane and its primary use is to waterproof concrete foundations, plaza decks, tunnels, and parking decks in both vertical and horizontal orientations.  Bakor Blueskin WP200 Self-Adhering Waterproofing Membrane is also ideal for use in interior applications such as mechanical rooms, laboratories and wet-rooms.

Bakor Blueskin Roof RF200 Self-Adhered Roof Underlayment is an SBS modified bitumen membrane reinforced with a blue polyethylene film.  This membrane is specially suited for self-adhering on sloped surfaces.  Bakor Blueskin Roof RF200 Self-Adhered Roof Underlayment is designed to be adhered direclty to roof decks or certain insulation panels prior to the application of finished roof coverings including architectural metal, shingles, cedar shakes or tile.  Its primary function is to serve a secondary waterproofing layer, in both residential and commercial building applications, protecting the building's interior from damages caused by water infiltration as a result of ice dam formation and wind driven rain.
